Red and Black Day

On the 4^th March Milford Primary participated in Red and Black day to raise money for the dreadful earthquake in Canterbury.If children wore Red and Black they were encouraged to bring a gold coin or note donation.All of the money that was raised for Christchurch was donated to the extremely damaged schools which needed it.

Our school raised a total of $2,796.90 dollars which has now been donated. Evan Wong from Room 2 said

"I'm so glad that the money is going to the vulnerable people of Christchurch."

Milford Media Club are a group of Year 6 students at Milford School.  We meet every Thursday lunchtime at 12.40pm and we report on events happening at school.  We look forward to putting on new posts regularly to share with our readers.
