Red and Black Day

On the 4^th March Milford Primary participated in Red and Black day to raise money for the dreadful earthquake in Canterbury.If children wore Red and Black they were encouraged to bring a gold coin or note donation.All of the money that was raised for Christchurch was donated to the extremely damaged schools which needed it.

Our school raised a total of $2,796.90 dollars which has now been donated. Evan Wong from Room 2 said

"I'm so glad that the money is going to the vulnerable people of Christchurch."
