Recycling
At Milford School we have started a brand new recycling system. Each class has been given a green plastic recycling bin. We are allowed to put papers, newspapers and cardboards into this bin. We put other rubbish in the other bin. We are trying to be environmentally friendly and recycle all paper. Everyone is trying hard to be tidy kiwis for the environment.
We also have a little yellow bucket with a lid for compost. We are allowed to put fruit and vegetable scraps, paper towels and papers and lunch wrap in the recycling bins.

Book donation
As part of our book fair, books can be donated to Milford School . My Grandpa has written a book called, “New Zealand History”. It has a Korean part, a New Zealand part and some photos. There’s a photo of my brother when he was little. My grandfather has given the book that he’s written to lots of people including Mrs. Smits (my teacher) and the office. It took 4 years for him to finish the book. My Grandpa is a doctor and he enjoyed writing his historical book.
